Exhibit B Gallery Business Spotlight

I was lucky enough to experience the brand new show called “Everyday Magic” that just went up at Exhibit B Gallery and will continue through to January 30th, 2021. “There’s a little piece of magic in every piece of art,” Harry Boardman said about the latest group show. This is the biggest show in the four years of the gallery being open. Now, may be your only chance to see about eighty artists’ works in one place including pottery, jewelry, glassblowing, paintings, collage, photography, mixed media, sculpture, handmade furniture, and more.

Exhibit B Gallery’s owners are also both artists, Heather, a flameworking, maker of glass jewelry, and Harry, an oil pastel painter of local landscapes and street scenes. Harry and Heather Boardman are a strong part of the revitalization that’s going on in Souderton, and share that strength and support with the many artists who they work with. The gallery, restored from a 1901 cigar factory, is a piece of art in itself, and a must see! This historic building has been transformed into a modern, welcoming space full of light and complete with a furry mascot, Crusher the Gallery Dog.

Connecting the community with art is the motivation you find behind Exhibit B Gallery as well as the public arts initiative here in Souderton. Harry has been involved in multiple public arts projects with the Community Arts Initiative and the Souderton Business Improvement District. You can see Harry’s Chestnut Street Mural, “Sol/ Luna,” his Souderton Headlines mural box, as well as all the public art Souderton has to offer by taking the Souderton Art Walk.

Take the time to see the new “Everyday Magic” show, appreciate art, and get something nice for the holidays. They are currently open Thursday- Friday: 2pm - 7pm and Saturday: 11pm - 5pm. Message or call the gallery if you’re interested in a private tour that differs from normal hours.
